GATE Exam Pattern 2019
- GATE 2019 was conducted in online mode.
- IIT Madras conducted each paper of GATE 2019 for the duration of 3 hours. Moreover, each paper consisted of a total of 65 questions. The GATE 2019 paper consisted of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions.
- Each paper of GATE 2019 carries total 100 marks.
- Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every correct MCQs carrying 1 mark, while 1/3 mark will be deducted for incorrect answer. For 2 mark MCQs, 2/3 mark will be deducted for every wrong response. There is no negative marking for Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
